The 2.8 Gu has a dual mass flywheel

So for any one who cares the gu manual 2.8 gear box is
not the same as the gq 2.8 gear box, close but no cigar.

I had a look at the two and the input shafts are different so maybe
they have to be swaped which is a bit of a pain .

Just did uni's in my patrol and soon found out that u have to get the best ones u can buy, because i got them from repco put them in went to get the
shaft balanced and they couldn't do it .Because the NEW! uni's had slop in them.Pain in the ass just a warning!

I just got in contact with an engineer
that will do 4" coils , 2" body lift and 35s no problem
u can pm or email me for the number if that helps

U should get a boost gauge first so u can tell what the boost is.
To raise the boost presure u have to blead off the waste gate with a boost controller .U can buy them from most performance shops.It is a little technical if u don't now what u are doing.

They have good prices and they ship any were!

I build off road camper trailers.I use all states trailer spares at tuggerah or try car van, i think they both have websites.

I went A 4" coil lift and 2" body lift, I used tough dog shocks and coils. The shocks are 9way ajustables so when offroad set them soft and on the black stuff set them hard .U should use a spacer in the front control arms to get the front wheel forward more and u will fit 35" tyres eazy. I got 6 ...
