Anyone got any ideas on supercharging my td42 has anyone done it?, is it worth it?

I've been looking into this and yeas it is possible, but you will be looking at big bikkies to get it done... probably in the order of $10+K...

have a look at Capa superchargers for a start.

I have decided to settle with a DTS turbo less the intercooler for mine. Should be able to get it all in and running for about $4K.

It's about 5k using a powerdyne supercharger including all the manifolds, pulleys etc.
Fitting is only about $500
Lots of low down power.

Does TD mean Turbo Diesel? If it has a turbo on it already I would say NO it is not worth it.

td42 means n/a deisel, tb42 is petrol.
the turbo version is td42t :D

If you want low down grunt you want a screw type blower, the Powerdyne and vortech are centrifical blowers you want a Positive displacement blower that delivers the same volume of air per revolution, centrifical blowers become increasingly ore effective at higher rpm, their boost is fairly linear; you may get 2 psi at 2000 rpm and 10 psi at 6000 rpm whereas a P.D. blower will be closer to 10 psi from 2000 to 6000.
