hi guys just thinking about recoing my 2h (1983 HJ60 landcruiser) and would like to know roughly what would it cost if i do all the work apart from the machineing of the block and full reco head

I've seen full rebuild kits on eBay for $800ish. Injector pump would add a bit.

yep seen them...injector pump will have to wait as all i have is 2g ( i hope)

Factor around $60 per injector for new pintles and spray pattern check.
For around $400-500, you get the injector pump checked (pump volume and condition) and new seals for vacuum advance/throttle setup. This is not a complete pump rebuild though but it is better than nothing.
Are you doing this yourself?

AWD is a poor excuse for a 4WD.
