beedlock are also for when ur keen on dropin ur tyre pressure under 10psi. with out beedlocks u are prone to roll a tyre off ur rim but with these little suckers on u can safely drop it down to 5psi or lower.
as far as i know there are two types external which u see most common and are bolted to the outside of ur rim and then there are internal ones with are like a tube inside ur rim

Internal beadlocks (secondair) are legal, but i'm pretty sure you are "supposed" to have them engineered as you have to modify (drill a hole) in the rim.
External beadlocks are probably the more effective/hardy option, but they are NOT legal anywhere, unless you get them engineered (good luck!).
Use the search function and search for "beadlock". Plenty of info on here about them. Do a google image search too so you can see what they actually are.

I've got Walker Evans rims and they are still not legal even with the inner ring part of the rim casting itself.........60_series_united wrote:no its because the inner ring has to be welded to the rimalien wrote:whats the reason for them being illegal? is it to do with side impacts/crashing etc and the tyre not deflating?
