What does the AU Suzuki market need?

Post by Low Range »

Just wanted to ask what does the AU Suzuki market need.

Pondering a few products and just wanted to see what is really needed?

One thing we are looking at is the OTS steering kits for your right hand drive zuks.

Anything else come to mind that is not currently available or needs to be made better?

Thanks
Sean

more freebie promos.... for example for being the first to reply you could give me a set of crawler gears for free...

a bolt on ready to go power steering set up would be nice ( unless thats what your talking about with the ots)

do you do a twin stick set up at all?

A bolt on wedge adaptor for the RHS Vitara (Sidekick) powersteering box would be a godsend.

I've bought a number of those items from Sean as he had the best prices when you added shipping into the equation.

Sean,
X2... A Vitara (Sidekick) power steering adaptor would be awesome.

Your prices are great but shipping kills the savings.
Work out a cheaper way of getting stuff here and you'll double/triple your turnover.
Jas.

Suzukiboy: The bolt on adaptor does nothing for a Vit but its cool for bolting a Vit box to a Sierra.

Availability of OTT kickers? I don't think there's anyone in Aus with a genuine kicker and they look like they're the best solution for vitara wanting gears.

A bolt up or minimal welding Anti wrap bar for SPOA Sierras would be good.

Portal Hubs.....

Maybe a front Tube bar that has decent recovery points and winch cradle.

Best suggestion yet, dont think its asking alot

Seriously: I think a seat adapter might go down well. Allot of people are always trying to figure out a way to put aftermarket seats, or seats from another car into their vehicles, so a bolt on adapter for a common seat (either aftermarket or common vehicle) could prove fruitfull. I took the cheap option here and bought second hand seats already setup for a Sierra; and it made life allot easier for me.

On the shipping note: a cheaper alternate that can be optioned for the larger items (which cost unfeasible amounts to ship), when delivery time is not such an issue. i.e. Shipping. Although this really could blow out time wise.

Apart from a steering box wedge and pitman arm to suit the vitara box to sierra tierod, everything else is pretty much covered.

Maybe some prefab weld on brackets to coil the rear using Nissan or the like OEM arms would be good

X 2 You guys are awesome so far with Freight on the smaller gear I get it in roughly 7 days from order and thats generally what I wait if not longer for parts in Aus.

I wouldn't mind waiting longer for bigger heavier things that I would like to order in the near future if shipping was a little cheaper, things like the 'Bad boy Nerf Bars' and rock sliders as a idea

Thanks

I know someone who was interested in making them to suit a Zook but I told him that the market wouldn't pay, just look how tight most owners are.

If you're serious what would you pay for them done right and I do mean right?

A bolt on full floater will widen the rear more than stock. Is that acceptable? What is the market willing to pay? This would also mean running rear discs.

What we realistically need are go hard bits for Jimny's and Vitara's. Sierra's with good bodies are becoming harder and harder to find therefore will be forced to modify these others more and more.

Adaptors to find gear driven transfers into Jimnys, good quality reasonably priced arms. Maybe even a bolt on or relatively easy SAS kit for the Vitara (Not sure whether this is even possible)
