Looking into this becouse I know somone who has a complete front
diff for a GU with an air locker fitted, I can get it for a resonable price but just wanting to see if I can put the air locker in my GQ.
Or he might just have to sell it

Are you talking about changing the centre or just carrier?

If its the same ratio just change the centre.

easy job to change just the centre with minimal tools.

easy way sit the axle on axle stands, remove hubs n cv's.

Remove lhs tierod and pull the linkage under the car to rhs.

Undo the rhs radius arm bolt behind the centre and push it toward the RHS of car, onle push it in flush with the mount plate.

Undo the bolts around the diff cente and there may be 2 bolts clamping the breakline to thr cente.

Then roll the centre out and it will almost balance on the pinion flange.

Repeat in reverse order for install.
