Diesel box may be different. You need to identify your gear box properly before anyone can tell you what it is. It should be written on the vehicles ID tag (ie H55).

give us a bit more info instead of saying "not good"

what is the problem?

if it is hard to shift from 1st to 2nd, this is common with 80series manuals, especially the early models, try changing the oil to Castrol VMX-M (about $30) it is surprising how much difference it can make to how easily the box shifts gears

turbo diesel had different gear ratios from memory.

you can use the diesel box no problem
you need to fit your bell housing
depending on the input spline you end up with you may need to get a different friction plate for the clutch made

other wise boxes are the externally the same
ratios are different but not enough to really notice na diesel has a lower first

Slight hijack, but holy crap how are you getting vmx for $30???? I bought two 4L containers yesterday and they cost me $46 EACH.

Its certainly is the ducks guts of gear oils tho- The lux, Prado and Rodeo all have it in their boxes and they are beautiful to shift now! :D
