GQ to GU brake master cylinder and booster
GQ to GU brake master cylinder and booster
Hi guys,i did a search but couldnt come up with anything.Do the GQ and GU run the same brake master cylinder and booster? If not is the GU one a bolt in job and does it make a difference to the GQ brakes.Cheers Loz.
My brakes are pretty good considering its a GQ.Its a 98 diesel coil cab and im runnin 37's.I already have twin pots on the front,EBC pads all round, stainless lines front n rear but not caliper lines and slotted n dimpled rotors all round. It pulls up well for a GQ but the brakes seem to fade away when im wheelin.Like when reversing back on steep inclines or driving down them.My mate has a GU coil cab n his brakes are awsome when off road.Everything from calipers to size of rotors are identical but was wondering if the difference was in the booster and master cylinder as i did not change mine when i puy the twin pots on. Cheers Loz.
