i have a winch now so i don't need recovery points.Moph wrote:Hope your recovery points are load rated.....
they are very flash ties, i originally used them to hold transformers to power poles.brendan_h wrote:i see you used cable ties. are they load rated or just the cheap one at bunnings?
the cable is there i just lost the hook bit. i plan on pop riveting the cable to a tree when i need to winch.PJ.zook wrote:Sweet i see youre using that new invisible winch cabling.

If you turn the ones on the ends sideways.. they can double as Jerry can holders..
Hell, make a rear one to.. some of them flat ones for the roof, with the square ones inside it, and fill them with LPG bottles.. somehow hooked together.. run it down into the chamber or converter.. whatever is needed!

Fire-smire. Its about strength. Take the uber-cable ties it uses. Anything that could keep a transformer stuck to a power pole has got to be tough. I've seen the movies, those robots are HUGE!danssurf82 wrote:hmmmm well might work for a sierra.

maybe use some old broken microwaves i always see them in rubbish collection, with some tie wire? or maybe for a jeep have a few fire extinguishes tie wired to the front, and back
