it is a flash hi-tec plastic, the color goes all the way through the bar.

i have a winch now so i don't need recovery points.

they are very flash ties, i originally used them to hold transformers to power poles.

the cable is there i just lost the hook bit. i plan on pop riveting the cable to a tree when i need to winch.

If you turn the ones on the ends sideways.. they can double as Jerry can holders..
Hell, make a rear one to.. some of them flat ones for the roof, with the square ones inside it, and fill them with LPG bottles.. somehow hooked together.. run it down into the chamber or converter.. whatever is needed!

hmmmm well might work for a sierra.
wonder how we could make one and sell it to the jeep guys? it would obviously have to be fire rated

Fire-smire. Its about strength. Take the uber-cable ties it uses. Anything that could keep a transformer stuck to a power pole has got to be tough. I've seen the movies, those robots are HUGE!

I like it! And as a bonus, you get extra safety. You've doubled your crumple zone. Just one question. Is it airbag compatible?

i took it for a road test today, and well to say it was a failure would be a understatement.
oh well back to the drawing board.
next i am going to try plywood, i recon it would look good varnished.

I had a mate, who had a polished railway sleeper. On the front of his 77 mod Daihatsu, looked ok till he hit a 120y datto.
