Simple, because its easy, simple bolt on job. And theres countless people who've done it to help with turbo selection or kits etc, plus they get great power and fuel economy.bobrocket wrote:What are some pro's and con's of Turbo vs Supercharger.
I've been swaying towards doing a supercharger mod as well but there must be reasons why everyone does the Turbo mod.

the trouble with turbo's is they are reactive, they react to how much fuel you pour in, so boost is always one step behind the fuel. especially in low gears you simply don't make the boost as the motor has rev'ed faster than the turbo can to supply the air.jbates58 wrote:i have been wondering this aswell. and i have thought that a supercharger would be better, as you will have boost from idle. am i corect in thinking that? whereas a turbo, will only create boost as the rite revs.
