Need help chasing a product/part.

Post by ANIMAL »

Hi all, done a heap of searching but with no luck.Im chasing an aerial mount that you can pull out a pin and collapse it down, leaving it on the vehicle.I've seen somewhere but can't remember where(mag or dvd??).I was thinking of mounting it on my touring rack on passenger side to mount my sand flag when we do the simmo in june, folding down towards the rear when not in use.If anyone can put me in touch with this product or have links or pics i would greatly appriciate it.Thanks in advance

think it was GME that made a stainless whip arial that had it already built in, you could simply unscrew the small flange and it would fold down. they are a nice ariel and pretty cheap.

I used a bolt on mount on the bullbar for my big whips, left it loose enough to simply pull down so i could get it in and out of maccas drive throughs, etc.

Best bit was if you hit something likely to bust the whip, it would just move the mount rather than snap the arial
