Superior has made them in the past. Mick had it in his red GQ Extra cab and Bartso ran the same unit for TTC09.
You can make your own out of a transfer case. I know that you can use Hilux and 40/60 (Split) case internals. There is LOTS of lathing involved.
As for retaning it too the case there is heaps of options.
Mine's made of 60's internals.

Re: GQ Rear disconnect
if you have a drawing and know what your doing it will still take >3hr to do it properly. Then you have to do the shift mech and mounts as well, so allow another 3hr.WICKED wrote:micka1 wrote:Yeah i know yuri 4x4 do one but i was hoping for any other alternatives / cheaper ideas out there .

Re: GQ Rear disconnect
Mine is on a Dummy T-case ATM with no shifter Mech on it yet so If you want too tell me what you want pics off I'll send you some. Bearing in mind that mine is a 60's T-case but the only difference is the way you mount it too the T-case.micka1 wrote:Cheers Wicked , yeah i found those 2 pics but i just wanted to see what others had done with theirs .

Re: GQ Rear disconnect
Here is what im in the middle of making for a Toyota Transfer but im sure it would apply for the nissan. as it just internals of a transfer case machined up. My one is a lot slimmer line than this only adding 25mm to driveline lenght.
the only cost invloved in making mine is the air cylinder and 2 sloeniods.

Re: GQ Rear disconnect
Interesting... I'm guessing the bearings go in the flange side and the spacer goes on the hub side, correct??macarthur 4x4 wrote:
What holds it all together? does the spacer also act as a nut on the output shaft, or is there a bolt that goes right through from the flange side?
Looks sweet, keep us posted.
