LSD or factory locker front?

Post by V.W.Dave »

Hey guys I have never taken apart any patrol diffs. I know the front and rears have different spline counts but is there a way swop side gears around to put a LSD or a factory lock diff into the front of a patrol?

This would have to be the most asked question ever. :finger:
Simple answer, NO wont fit, and cant easily make them fit.
If you want LSD in the front look for a 31 spline diff from a mid 90's pathfinder.
But LSD in the front is shit and no way worth the effort.
If your tight, buy a lock right. But after you've used that bit you'll wish you spent the extra and brought a air locker or the likes.
cheers

I recon the new "E lockers" are the way to go, no air compressor needed, no air leaks and half the hassle.
