yes, convert to a bbq ring style gas mixer, which is more duct work friendly. less efficient though

What style of kit do you have?,is it USA,ie Beam,Impco, etc with the cable operated venturi inside the filter.
Or is it a long snout with a K&N style filter on the end,if so you could remote mount a suitable Hi-volume air filter box and pipe to it from the snout and from the snorkle.

I've got an Impco straight LPG setup on the chev in my FJ40 and want to set up a snorkel soon too.

What I am thinking of doing is getting an adaptor for a quadrajet to mount the 425 at 90degrees off the top of the carb, and run duel fuel again. Should be easy to run a air cleaner box with outlet pointing to the side of the truck with the snorkel.

They sell them in the states but I haven't seen them in Aust before.

Good performance, easy to run a snorkel off an airfilter cover around the 425, and should look tough in the engine bay.

If that works I'm thinking about doing a dual carb/dual 425 mixer setup in preparation for a bigger motor down the track :D

i have a duel 425 setup on mine, and a air box will have to be fabricated, to suit.

an impco 300a on the end of the aluminium snorkle? air filter on the angle on the end? maybe a impco 425 will be more user friendly, with better economy to boot
