snorkel to gas
want to know how to set up a snorkel unit to my 308 patrol which is running on deul fuel, has air cleaner off the end of the mixer any ideas.
I've got an Impco straight LPG setup on the chev in my FJ40 and want to set up a snorkel soon too.
What I am thinking of doing is getting an adaptor for a quadrajet to mount the 425 at 90degrees off the top of the carb, and run duel fuel again. Should be easy to run a air cleaner box with outlet pointing to the side of the truck with the snorkel.
They sell them in the states but I haven't seen them in Aust before.

Good performance, easy to run a snorkel off an airfilter cover around the 425, and should look tough in the engine bay.
If that works I'm thinking about doing a dual carb/dual 425 mixer setup in preparation for a bigger motor down the track

an impco 300a on the end of the aluminium snorkle? air filter on the angle on the end? maybe a impco 425 will be more user friendly, with better economy to boot
