GQ clock
so to the connections that need to be resoldered for this are just on the back of the clock?

yea, its common as corrupt cops for them to die...
apparently you can spray some stuff on them that shows you the broken joints, or just resolder the lot I say!

Have just fixed 2 GQ clocks.......
There is a large resistor on the back of the board (I think its the largest) and one or both of these solder joints will be the problem. To test, pull the clock apart (will have to pry open some small clips with a small screwdriver once you remove the fascia panel), plug back in and push or wobble this large resistor slightly with your finger. The clock should come good. In both my cases, I could see a slight crack in the solder joint. Just heat this joint with a soldering iron and no more problems.
The job takes no more than about 20 mins.

Mine has the stabaliser release bar, auto areal, factory rear diff lock etc.
and the clock failed. Its fixed now
Not sure wat model i have though.. DX,ST,TI.......
doesnt have leather but it fully carpeted etc...
