You need to ring around and get some prices, I got a set of swampers sent from Melbourne to Sydney for $90 on a pallet, it was one pallet space on a Bdouble and just so happened they were trying to fill the load and being an ex trucky I knew a thing or two about them trying to fill loads. But rining around a few carriers is the best way. The bain of transport operations is backloading, so you've gotta think outside the square a little, try talking to removalists that might cover certain areas as they often run home empty etc and will carry stuff very cheap to pay for the fuel.
hope that helps a bit. Paul

I found out a person can get a passable deal if they waste $20 on long distance phone calls .
The best deal I could get as a private person (some wouldn't even bother because of no ABN) was $450 then up popped a $280 quote so I got there in the end.
Ryano can you get freight from anywhere to anywhere at a fair price or just from Bris? The deal you got on those tyres is mighty good!!!
