How hard is it to change the seal behind the swivel hub?

its not too hard just time consuming, when u do it just lay it out in the order you pulled it apart so u dont get stuck when putting it all together again, just make sure you get the wheel bearing nut set right.
can get seal from most auto parts stores or from a dealer, sounds like its the INNER AXLE SEAL coast about $5 to $10

they come in the kit, very good kit contains everything from swivel hub seals, bearings, cups to wheel bearing seal. Terrain Tamer brand. You can also get wheel bearing kits if you find these are f**ked. You should clean up wheel bearings, check they're condition and repack or replace whilst you've got it apart.mudtrekka wrote:Could be your swivel housing bearings.This was the case for me,while dismantling the hub to do the swivel seal I noticed they were stuffed.
