i wanna fit a set or 36" tsl sx swapers to my 1999 gu how much lift do i need, i dont want it scrubbing on the streets as its a daily driver, i no i could just throw on a 7" lift but i want to go minimum lift that will fit these tryres and i dont want body lift
also will my 2.8 struggle to move them, i have 4.6 centres, im wanting to fit a v8 in the future but the old 2.8 will have to do for now

not too sure what the 35MTR measure as a true size, but we did run these on my old mans GU 2.8L it turned them quite well, on the street, thou a little slow of the line, we have since changd the diff ratio to a 4.88 and this has improved it a bit, but it is still a slow motor off the line,
also, your low range wont be that good, so id look at fittin a set of rockhoppers or marks gears, will make drivability in low a lot better,

A mate had a GU with a 5" kit and ran 35's without touching any guards. He did have Snake arms in the front which move the diff forward an inch.
