just can't believe my eyes you did this to a LWB :shock: :shock: something new to see here. imho, i think you should reserved 5-6" before the pillar to make a nice and proportional looking cab. it seems too short for a LWB chop. just my 2 cents. ;)

Right, I don't want much cab, and i was going to do a small extended cab but after thinking it over i went with short. It was easier and i'll have more bed room, The reason for larger tires mid chop was my brother in law needed new tires for his truck so we traded his bad tires and wide wheels for my better small tires and stock wheels. One of his wheels was messed up but i got that fixed so now i got a new set of wheels to fit some monster tires on. :D

yeah eventually it'll go SAS, for now i just want to get the chop done and the new engine swapped in. Here's yesterdays progress, capped the body corners.

I cut the frame off behind the panhard mount and relocated the gas tank. The flat bed is taking shape and the roll bar is almost ready to tack in.

Is there going to be anything more going back to the chassis where the roll cage meets the flat bed frame.

Yup, but i ran out of steel i still need about 20 more feet of tubing just to finish the flatbed.
