Swivel hubs on the lux fail every 6 months. The inner seals are good and no oil gets into the cv's.
Is there a better wipper kit seal available ?
Does anyone make a 2 piece unit so you don't have to pull the hub to replace the wipper seal ?
I'd weld the bastards up,.. but i need to turn corners sometimes.

Re: Hilux Swivel hubs ... Argh !!!
Pretty sure longfields make a better seal but my advice stay out of the mud. Fun at the time but it'll get everywhere and destroy everything.

hey mate i just went through all this i know ur pain hahah there so annoying mine ended up being the brass bush was a bit flogged out the one behind the stub axle well its all working atm
Re: Hilux Swivel hubs ... Argh !!!
It's called a spindle bush, don't replace the inner axle seAls with standard ones if they are leaking oil into swivel hubs, get some heavy duty marlin ones from lockup. Was the only way I could stop the seals wearing out quickly in my lux.
