IS IT WORTH IT, ROUGHLY THE COST AND WHAT PARTS NEEDED


IS IT WORTH CONVERTING TO GAS ALSO ANY IDEA OF COST ? 1700 OFF THE GOV AN THE WHAT??

Mate as far as I've heard most people use a 60 series power steer box and arms.
As for the gas if you have a standard carbie motor it will give you a tiny bit less power but will run on any angle so no more flooding. For a fitted gas kit it should cost you about $2000

Just use what ever you can find. I heard falcon works well unless you can find something that will bolt straight on. Most people get a custom high pressure line made.

Any pump off a 2F/3F ( 60 series or 80 series etc) fits straight up to a FJ40 engine ( unless you got a conversion )

he didnt like the answer over on 4x4 monthly so he came here trying to be spoon fed aswell

Na all the stuffing around isnt worth it as i prefer heavy steering especially in the rocks with really low tyre pressures

Yea, and better grip with the tyres on rocks then too coz it's easier to keep the traction when turning with no P/S.
