It is a reason to check out a charge lamp condition and a wire between lamp and voltage regulator. In case of interruption the signal to alternator exciting coil is lost.

Diff ratio depends from production year, engine, market and heavy or light duty model. In my Patrol MK160 Hardtop (March1986, atmospheric SD33 engine, 5-gear transmission, European market, light duty model) diff ratio used to be 4.375. Now it is 4.875 :). I assume the Patrol you ask is the same and ...

I did end up using a little bit of oil in the hub, its not exactly easy to get more than a dribble in there! I guess it might be wise to re-oil the hub atleast monthly. Here (in Russia) in winter time the grease is unusable, as it thicken. I have re-oil hubs each 5000 km simultaneously with ...

Nicolay this 160 hardtop is this a MY or a GQ? Sounds like a very favourable ratio. And are the this the stronger axles or the weaker ones? Which sides are the diffs on? This is MK Patrol with right side diffs. The front axle C200 type is a standard, but rear half-floating H233B is a heavy duty. It ...

Hi,
You have possibility to find in Europe axles with ratio 4.875. These heavy duty axles was mounted on the Patrol 160 hardtop with petrol engine 2.4, manufactured in Iran. I've payed for complete front and rear axles 400 USD (in Russia).
