ramp rates also have an effect on the output, also strapin the car down. i dont fully understand the setup for our dyno as our boss is to tight to get us trained. howeva wen it was installed we were told ramp rates, and to make sure the car is strapd down to keep pressure on the front roller.

could mount it up in a overhead console. the older models didnt have that pod on top of the dash, i kinda like the pod set up in mine, easy to reach. each to there own i guess

ive got mechanical oil and water in my shorty and cant say anything bad about them, they are the sport-comp with black dials, but i do have 2 pro-comp (silver dial) mechanical water temp and oil pressure that are brand new in the box if your intrested, either mount in dash or get the pods

hiluxs are just as bad belive me, i gota fix em, clutchs, fuel dramas, genaral crap design, however missus's ex has own business, has d40 under 70,000km and is on clutch 6, nissan are well aware of the problem but wont pay for the safari clutches

So really the way to go would be a 4 post islolater in the engine bay, with earth and power, cable operated from cab, if you want to isolate the winch use a extra solenoid or red key isolater

i used a 20 litre drum, cut a hole in the bottom, and then cut the base off another as the lid, 2 holes either side and pipe into that.

just checked the dtcs and it came up with 0703, injector pump communication line. thought about the secondhand option, but the amount of car rallys we go to its not worth the risk, we r 120k away frm the diesel place so they can either come and get it or send someone out

After bit of help, my girlfriends patrol shit itself on monday, injector pump was the cause, got a quote for a reco pump $3700 plus labour.

nt that it should mater but with those type of tensioners its best to keep them the same as they mount wen compressing them, ie, if its vertical then keep vertical, thats just the way iv been taught, have had magna 1s that play up wen compressed in vice

1kd, were do i start, we replaced 1 10000km old 1kd in a prado under warranty. They seem to have a problem with injectors such as build up of crud that cause a evil diesel knock, outragous build up of carbon after the egr entry to the inlet manifold
