Does anyone make a adaptor to mount the GQ transfer case to the ford auto or will i have to adapt a C4 auto to the engine and get a C4 to GQ transfer adaptor?
A quick check on Marks4wd, revealed what i thought, nothing is made for the ford auto.

I sold the lot for a grand, so guess he made a nice little profit.......Would only have had to wire ecu and get it tuned and it would've been completed.

I am fairly sure you can remove the sender without removing the tank. Pull up the carpet in the back and check for a removable panel. take this off and you should be able to get at the bolts holding sender in.

Dellow tried to engineer it, i re-did their fuck-ups. As i previously mentioned the clutch slave mount was out of alignment. I modded the original nissan clutch fork for a closer to the pivot push point. I have since found out that the GU Patrol ...

Thanks, I'm pretty sure BA Turbo wont happen, as the BA sump is huge, and without a huge lift-kit, and aftermarket EMS, it'll never work. The ford I6 feels way more responsive than the old pushrod nissan ...

Has anyone used a ford V8 in their conversion. Looking into a 302 windsor, have to check availability of bellhousing. Does anyone know off-hand whether clevelands and windsors have same bellhousing bolt pattern?

I believe there is enough potential in the ford engine to justify a swap. Did a search for "performance parts for TB42".....nothing of any use. Ford engine has plenty of go fast bits, especially the CAPA flash tuner for use with a supercharger or turbo.
Found a complete '98 EL falcon ...

Just on ya petrol consumption...an old worn TB42 will use around 20-25l/100km....more if towing or pushed hard...mine got up to 33l/100k towing ...(admittedly up a mountain though). Standard tank holds 95Litres (hardtop and wagon).
I filled it up from about 1/8th of a tank, and i stopped at 100 ...

No, to both q's, have to get the new EFI wired before that happens. Charger is not on the engine ATM, I put it on to test it out and then took it off. Only takes about 3 hours to fit it.
