1992 Vitara Estate Towing Capacity

Can anyone confirm the towing capacity for a 1992 Vitara Estate 4 door manual. I think it is 500kg un-braked and 1200kg braked just want to confirm.

98lux, seen that 80 and she would look great in my driveway however 30k is my absolute max so its a bit out of my price range. By the look of it most say wreck the 60 and look for a TD 80.

I really like the 12HT in the 60 and its in good condition. I suspect I would get next to nothing for the 60 as it has a fair bit of rust and since the motor and gearbox are in such good condition is there anything that I could swap it into?

Already have GU 4800 petrol Wagon on 35's but it is getting expensive to drive to work every day but I need it for family holidays and to tow the boat. I am looking at buying a 110 defender will be setting it up with 3" spring lift and running 33" BFG's my budget to buy a base vehicle is low 20"s is there a year model any better than others that I should be looking for.

I have a 1hz in a 75 series and I think it has a cracked piston as it is making a loud tapping sound that increases with revs (clearly heard over engine noise. Does anybody know of a good diesel workshop on the Gold Coast ? Toyota at Burliegh recon between 4k and 6k to fix :cry:

Is it possible to bolt up any of the Rover V8 Petrol engines into a 130 cab chassis? I think the gearbox is a R380 in the 130. If not is there an adapter available to install a new chev v8? any options you could recomend would be greatly appreciated.
