B-man, i did my own lift inside 2hrs. Any nut and bolt shop can provide the longer HT bolts (12 in all from memory). Went to an aluminium shop and had 2" solid alumin. pucks made up and predrilled for the bolts. All up these 2 parts cost $110. A new longer brake line for the rear, fiddle of the h ...

drive axle hassle
looks like its come back t finally bite me. Circlip on the inner right axle in the diff housing has been munched and the splines at the end smoothed off. this has resulted in the axle sliding out all the time, dirt and water getting in and rust inside the housing. Obviously wasn't keeping a good eye ...

steering box leak
Been pricing steering gears at the wreckers in sydney and exchange units as well, $300 + sounds a bit rich. Any ideas, pretty sure its the rear seal where the outputshaft connects to the steering shaft. Was thinking of doin it myself but not sure on the 'difficulty rating' ETC. Surely it cant be too ...

I have the NF. Same probs. Gets slower. Have taken it out , cleaned it sanded the frame for rust, greased the tracks(IMHO wrong thing to do as dust mixed with the grease forming a paste) have been using wd40 and similar - now works fine. But the rust is a very common problem across models, front ...

The glaringly obvious problem is that these shinny bums are talking about mandatory 'offroadtraining'. What's the point, the statistics they are quoting are for fatalities ONROAD, not off.Speed kills, not the 5km/hr rollover on a ledge. Have been in Shitney for 6 weeks now, wot a joke. If u leave ...
