Had a Pro Comp shock go the exact same way while on the tele track, welded it back up at camp the next day and it lasted the rest of the trip. Pro comp changed it over under warranty when i got back to brissy no questions asked, never had the same problem again on any others.

Can anywhere recommend where to purchase a 1UZ water pump and other bits that wont leave me with a second morgtage, im in Brissy but will purchase interstate if necessary. Cheers

Panasonic, used them for years with no dramas at all. Plus they will always have the best battery on the market as they make the batteries for most of their opposition. But i guess as with most things you get what you pay for so if you spend cheap you will probably get cheap.

I think you will find an 80 series diff centre is high pinion and will bolt into your solid axle diff.

i have had a small piece of plastic bag get inside my fan before that was very annoying. Only when the fan was on though, dont know if this is the case for you.

i also think that you would be inviting trouble as far as the spade connections go, unless you were to solder the cat5 conductor onto the relay flag i dont believe you would be able to achieve a trouble free connection with a crimp.

it happend to my old truck it was 1980 model petrol with a 3sge fitted (98 model MR2 engine)

aftermarket shafts were 2.5 inch
factory are 3 inch

and the aftermarket was made from thicker steel

what factory tailshafts are we talking about here, do a particular model hilux come with a factory one ...

Has anyone added coils springs to their leaf springs on a Hilux to help with load carrying ability. Interested how they work and if they affect the flex.

Could I be lucky enough that the ring and pinion gear set from my hilux centre fit the 80 series centre, can anyone tell me this.

Hey guys, I have aquired a 80 series Hi pinion front diff centre and want to put it into my 92 solid axle hilux, are they a straight swap over and will I be able to use my lockrite locker.
Also are the 80 series rears a Hi Pinion as well and can the same be done??

The Heat exchange goes parallel to the in and out hoses of the heater. Try the Helidon heat exchange website, their prices are that good you might not other to do it yourself. I have one and they are fantastic.
