Thanks for the explanation... I understand what your saying with the bump stops and shock mounts. My main point/question was that by limiting up travel you would restrict down travel. I still can't get my head around the if the axle stops upward movement one end, that it can continue to go down on ...

But if you put a 2 inch lift in and 2 inch bumpstop extensions you still have the same amount of up travel. By running longer shocks with your 2 inch lift and minimal uptravel you can get a lot more down travel which will get you your articulation.. Ok..this is where i get lost. Hopefully some of ...

I think your best bet would be to clean it all up with some degreaser, start the car and have someone under the bonnet and determine exactly where the leak is coming from. If you spend the extra $$ and get some hella reflectors it's well worth it, bout $50 each from memory. Puts out a much better light. They aren't a sealed beam so you can just replace the bulbs when the die. Good luck with it.

Im sorta lost on the point of the dual cab gig, if you dont have a car with a smashed roof, or rear end. The tray on the red GQ appears too small to fit much on... eg: A m/bike? or much else, that you couldnt fit in a wagon. help? Yeah but they look better than wagons... It's a ute thing.

I dont think the front and rear shafts would have to be at massivly different speeds. On a dirt road there will be wheel spin, proably so minute you wont even notice it. But this is enough to make the centre diff work hard causing early wear. You really don't understand how diffs work. This was ...
