Only reason i went that tall is so the bonnet has some protection and makes it easyer to see where the front of the car is. In the real it looks ok as it only sites up the thickness of the bar above the bonnet. The pic is more looking up at the bar so it looks a lot more.

There powercoated gloss black and to suit a 2 inc body lift. They took some time to get the first one looking right but after that i have a template for the bars.

Mate was havent a go at u just making a coment like everyone else.

Here is the custom bars that i make up. Made from 2 mm mild steel and flat sheetmetal thats has been folded to shape. 60mm tube for the crossover pipes and mounted to the chassie with 3mm mild steel. Been done before and been driving it around for the past 4 years.
One of the best converisions ive done for power and what u can do with the car. I also have a Datsun 1200 one with a srde and another with a ca18det that will be making big power. Im building the ca 1200 right now.

yes had to move the xfer back around 150mm or so the fan is on front of the radatior. Still got the standed diffs and just a 50mm spring amd body lift.

I use a rubber joint on my zook behind a ca18 and had no trouble as of yet. My tranfer and box are on the same plane a seams to work good. Only had trouble when i frist set it up. Bent the tranfer bar and didnt relise it and put the 2 out of line. It stuffed the input bearing on the tranfer. But ...

My lwb ute come in at 1100kg with two people in it last time i went to the dump. Thats with a ca18 motor and box, bigger fuel tank, sliders and a few bash plates. It all adds up pretty quick.

yes thats what i have in my ute. im about to make another one for my brothers ute and its going to be shorter than mine. This will allow the motor to be freather back inthe engine bay and then we can use an engine fan.
