Hey guys
I have a gq ute with a ls1 with a 4 L60e auto that is about had it the ls will be getting camed later as I can afford it but the auto will have to come first. Looking at the future as I will run a bigger cam what size hi stall and cam combo are you running . Thanks for any info

You have proberly got it worked out now but l
Unless the cam is big you should be able to drop your idle that should help if the cam is quite a big cam with a tight lsa you
Will have lower manifold vacuum at idle making your brake booster less help

I have a new set of 2" g60 springs in the shed I got them for a project but then changed my plans. They have been siting around the packs have been played with eg pulled some leafs out but they should still be in the shed some where if someone wants them let me know.

would not be that hard to bolt one on just need a adaptor plate or a new manifold with the right flange size I am guess it would be a t04 flange. but I think a t70 will be to big and will spool way to late

Drop the sump and crank in the car pull the piston that is cracked buy a new piston then bolt it all back up it will cost you sweet f all

I built the 5 link myself but made is as a bolt on unit. yes i agree with your arm lenght worries with the flex i get now the arm need to be longer but do work. I have been looking in to how to upgrade my front end to make arms longer just haven't got to it yet I will post some pics tommorow.

If you have only started to hear the noise after you lifted check that the splin on the drive shaft is not worn ,check uni joints and the angle on the diff flange should be the same as on the transfer case if not the uni joints will fight each other saying that if your caster is right the flange ...

if i were you I would go a 4" flexy coils and a 2" body lift . It will give you good flex with the xlink and be more stable than a 7" sping lift .

It bepends on what you want from your truck
the flexy coils are softer but you get good travle the strandard coils being 6" you will still get good flex but will be a harder ride. flex will have alot to do with your suspention setup eg shockers and linkage setup
