if u were going to run 15psi mate i would deff fit an intercooler even a front mount or top mount, but your going to have to play with the pump timing and fuel to get some decent power out of it, have u upgraded dump pipe and zorst?

ey mate try race radiators or pwr

bovs are used on turbo engines to prevent commpresor surge when u take your foot off the gas the air in in the piping going back through the turbo and spinning it the oposite way causeing problems, because the td42 dosent have a butterfly causeing air to be trapped no point to put one on your engine

race radiators i give the tumbs up, a few of my mates use them in there 4.2 litre petrol turbo patrols and very nice work

for a 3inch mandrel bent exhaust from an exhaust shop u prob looking from $1000 up to 1300$, $1000 was the cheapest i found when hunting around melbourne or you can order one through a company like mtq, Beaudesert and i think 4wd systems do aswell really cheap

2.5 inch with extractors and 3 inch with turbo seems to be the magic figures

Ey guys i have found a oil leak underneth the alternator on my sd33 had a look under and cant see exactly where its leaking from but its not leaking from the block and its not leaking from above the alternator just from under it and leaking onto the engine mounts, my oil pressure is ok untill i get ...

Hey guys just wanted to know where is the cheapest place to pick up a 15inch thermo fan 24 volt and can i wire it so i can turn it on by a switch not temp activated?

i cut my top radiator hose in half and put a water temp sender with the thread and put the sender in that and run it straight to my autometer gauge works good

rewire ya red, yellow and ground wires, dont use the factory ones

got one on my SD33T no drmas. Basically ontop of rocker cover and will run oin the air con belt. Has a 2inch body lift though, dunno if it helped. Took about 2 hrs to make. welded to aircon bracket and bolted to power steer pump bracket. Alt is fixed and uses orig idler pulley for tension. Very hap...

i have got a 24 volt system and i cant upgrade the alt cause its got the vacum connected to it hense i cant upgrade to a bigger one

thanks for the help mate, yeh i am thinking it mite be worth just running a seperate battery and alt. with the bracket is there someone on the forum that has done a 2nd alt on a mq???? or someone that may have a idea of doing this? and how and where do i run the belt for the 2nd alt?
