if u were going to run 15psi mate i would deff fit an intercooler even a front mount or top mount, but your going to have to play with the pump timing and fuel to get some decent power out of it, have u upgraded dump pipe and zorst?

bovs are used on turbo engines to prevent commpresor surge when u take your foot off the gas the air in in the piping going back through the turbo and spinning it the oposite way causeing problems, because the td42 dosent have a butterfly causeing air to be trapped no point to put one on your engine

for a 3inch mandrel bent exhaust from an exhaust shop u prob looking from $1000 up to 1300$, $1000 was the cheapest i found when hunting around melbourne or you can order one through a company like mtq, Beaudesert and i think 4wd systems do aswell really cheap

got one on my SD33T no drmas. Basically ontop of rocker cover and will run oin the air con belt. Has a 2inch body lift though, dunno if it helped. Took about 2 hrs to make. welded to aircon bracket and bolted to power steer pump bracket. Alt is fixed and uses orig idler pulley for tension. Very hap...

thanks for the help mate, yeh i am thinking it mite be worth just running a seperate battery and alt. with the bracket is there someone on the forum that has done a 2nd alt on a mq???? or someone that may have a idea of doing this? and how and where do i run the belt for the 2nd alt?
