Hi guys..
doing an engine swap as the old 253 donk is farked.
i have a clutch from the original conversion.. i think it needs replacing..
can you please
a) tell me if its an FJ or 253 part..
b) do you think its farked too.. the fingers are not all in line... some up, some down..

Hey guys.. have just got a GQ wagon and have been driving it around for a few weeks. I have noticed that the engine revs out quickly.. ie.. pulling out of a junction you are in 2nd and 3rd gear as im getting into the other lane..(hope that makes sense????). what im wondering is if i fit 33's how ...

ok, first blunder... its a GQ not a GU... a Y60?? Have just had all new suspension fitted.. EFS.. 2 inch lift which actually raised mine by 4 inches as it was F*@ked... soo much better.. and also had some extractors fitted and 2.5 inch system. all huge improvements. im getting about 5.5klm to the ltr. when not towing a trailer.
The box im looking at is from a later model 40, i think they came with 5 speeds.
I would like to do bigger trips now that the sprogs fit in the back and seem to like it.
