My springs have curved the wrong way.
My leaf springs are concave up, (which is how they were when I got it), and I've decided to finally do something about it. I've heard that this is a problem in some old Zooks. Should I just replace them or should I get them repaired? What sort of cost am I looking at?

3rd Cylinder Problems
I've narrowed a running rough problem down to the 3rd cylinder. When I pull the lead off the spark plug while its running, there is not much noticeable difference. If I pull the lead off any of the other plugs, you can hear a definate difference. I've tested the spark plug and the lead and replaced ...

Running like an old goat
A week ago my 83 Sierra started running rough. I thought it was the timing because the same thing happened a few months ago and I put new plugs, points and cap in and fixed the timing it it was great. I've adjusted the timing again but its still running a bit rough. What should I look at next?

Specs for a SJ410
I've searched all over the place but can't find very much information about the 410 specs. I'm looking for a page from the manual with all the specs such as plug gap, points, timing, etc. All of that stuff. Does anyone know where I can find that sort of info or does anyone have an electronic version ...

How do I adjust the timeing on my Sierra?
On the weekend I had to replace the plugs, distributer and the points. 've got it running a heap better than it was but the timing isn't perfect. What do I have to do to get the timing spot on? Its an 83 1L Sierra. Thanks!

How long will a Zook last?
My 83 Sierra is just about to pass 200,000km. How long should you expect an engine to last? At the moment it doesn't really use much oil or blow much smoke. When they go, can you feel they're on their way out for a while or can it be really sudden?
