My mate got 35's engineered on his patrol last week in sydney, the engineer told him that he would do up to 37s no worrys. il ask him what engineer it was.

Hey guys,
I was woundering what the law is with engine conversions and P platers?
I have had a bit of a search around and found a lot of contradicting information and have found no real information on the RTA website.

cruiser diffs what sort of Cruiser diffs? What else have you had to do to make them fit? So now my understanding is that the EL alternator will drop right into the spot of my old stock alternator and all i have to do is switch the plugs over?
Do i just get the new plug from an auto sparky?

Alternator

Hey guys i got a 91 jlx vitara (carby model)
I think the alternator is dead is there anyway to test it at home or do i have to take it to and auto elecy?
And whats a fair price to have it rebuilt or is it not worth worrying about rebuilding it and i just buy a second hand one?
