Would 4.88's be too low for 33's, and im im geussing you cant go back to 31's once youve done the conversion?

Its just that the reason im looking at new diffs is because there available at a good price, brand new and have a lsd upfront and a air locker in the rear. i dont have a choice on ratios ...

Petrol diffs in a deisel lux ratio

I am thinking of getting the lower diff ratios ( from a petrol lux) in my ln106r. Will it still drivable on the highway with 33's on. What is the highway rpm @ 100kmh.

It will be a lsd upfront and a air locker in the rear too, any comments?

Thanks guys, very helpful.

Can you leave the tyres on and just jack up the chassis once the ubolts are undone, thats how we do the rear leaves.

If you take a few leaves out it will only help up travel. The springs will flex until there flat but the down stays the same. The only real way is longers leaves with long shackles.

I dont push her hard at all, it was just a one off speed test.
Mine struggles to hold 100 on the flat.

My old car was a 2.8 with a garret turbo, had it up to 130 possibly could go 140 downhill if you were patient.

I think were are never going to get speeding fines

Mine is 120kmh downhill on 33's, no snorkel, no extractors, is that a litte to slow?

MU bodylift on an auto

Am getting interested in buying a MU as a second fourby and for some thing different, but want to know the cost of lifting them, not extreme, just to fit 31s or 32s. The body lift looks easy but what happens to the auto shifter stick.

Any tricks to installing the leaves in the front, i know the back are easy but have heard the front needs to be lifted quite high for the curved springs to fit in, will be doing brakelines at the same time.
