LPG fittings and lines - WTB?

Hey All

Can anyone recommend a supplier for LPG lines, fittings etc?

I've got a tank and impco system for my cruiser. Now I need the lines and fittings to hook the whole thing up. None of the fitters I have contacted here in WA are willing to supply parts so I want to go interstate.

Thanks

LPG Tank Fuel Level Sender Hook-up?

Hi All, I'm trying to get the fuel level sender on my LPG tank hooked up. It's a 88L 'Myttons' stainless single hole tank. The sender is fitted to the valve unit. It has the name Eletek printed in it and has 5 connector pins. Does anyone know how to wire up this type of tank? What sort of guage do I ...

WTB FJ40 body mount kit?

I want to remove the body lift from my 40 (yes I am sure) so I need the body mount rubbers and bolts. I have seen kits from SOR, CCOT etc in the US. Is there a kit available in Oz?

Thanks

60 Series Master Cyl Residual Valve?

I'm using a 60 seiries MC with proportioning valve in my 40. I was wondering if anyone knows if these MCs have residual vavles on the rear circuit? It's fully bled, the rear shoes are adjusted, and the clearance between the booster rod and MC piston is set. There is too much pedal travel before I ...

I would reckon under carby'ing it isnt the way to go , to lean = melted pistons ! Under carbing it wil not change the mixture. It will not cause a lean condition. According to this http://www.nastyz28.com/sbchevy/sblock.html 350s came out of the factory with as little as 185 hp ~ 140 kW.

I'm not sure what that is. If you mean a warm air intake coming from the exhaust manifold, I really don't recall. It had a Weber and extractors almost as soon as I bought it, so I don't remember the original configuration. I don't think the '75 had that arrangement either, but I could be wrong. If ...

I think ADR27A was the big one - what's on your compliance plate?

Good info. I'll check the plate. Did your 74 have a hot air stove?

Pollution gear for 9/74

I'm wondering what pollution gear I am requried to have on my 9/74 petrol passenger car. I have positive crank case ventilation and automatic choke. Do I need EGR and charcoal cannister? Are there any good references on the topic? Where can I get a copy of the relevant ADRs? Thanks Ben P.S. I'm ...

You will probably need an engineering cert for the motor, but this should not be too difficult. If you have more than 50mm total lift (incl. tyres) they may want you to do a lane change test which will be expensive. Having said that there are some fj40s here with spring over conversions running 35s ...

Transfer from ACT to WA registration.

Hi to the West Aussies. I am moving to WA in June and I want to bring my Landcruiser. I am trying to get an idea of how hard it is going to be to get it registered there. It is an FJ40 with a small amount of lift and a 5 litre V8. The front end has disk brakes. Apart from that, it is basically stock ...

You will need 1970 to 1979 FJ40, 45 or 55 front or rear drums. Drain all of the oil out of the front axle and don't use 4wd. That should slow the leaking down long enough to get your rego slip - just don't forget to re-fill it afterwards.
