Re: TURBO 3RZ-FE

thanks for that cozza but not the engine i was after.
was talkin bout the lower HP 3rz. The 1 in the link you posted is just a dyno queen and has WAY too much lag to be useful on the street and even more so in the dirt and rocks.

Re: Diesel Oil - Your Pick?

Another oil that I have been curious to try would be Redline oils. Has anybody used this oil, or heard any good or bad comments about it? Used red-line gearbox oil in a mates 300ZX. We used it for less than 500kms before changing it out for castrol instead. In 500kms the gearbox began to clash and ...

Won't the fuel reg restrict the flow to build the pressure up to the required level with the pump still forcing fuel into the rail?

Re: 3RZ Part #

Hi ray, below is a pic. would make sense from what you have said and what i have read i think you are correct. Has 2 wires, 1x 12V supply and the other goes to ground. I initially thought it was a resistor of some description but think otherwise now. http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa295/roklux ...

The ...

Re: 3RZFE into ln106 hilux conversion

Wicked mate hows the conversion going for you have you hit any snags? Thanks for your input too "404HZS" the only snag i have hit so far is the engine mounts needing to come back so far. I'm designing some new stronger ones to mount on the chassis further back. The factory diesel mounts are small ...

Re: 3RZFE into ln106 hilux conversion

i am currently putting a 3rz into my LN130 surf with the R150f in it. Using the 2TR bellhousing it will bolt to the gearbox and uses the standard 3RZ clutch assembly. Not sure on engine mounts tho. Mine have to go back 75mm  despite being told it was only 30mm. So i am going to be designing ...

My GME came with 2 aerials. 1 was a 6db (i think) and the other was a 12db aerial.

All it takes to change them is less than 2 mins and an allen key :)
Uses the same base but changes the antenna out for the different ratings. works well for both short and longer distance comms.
