If you still have sway bars connected they do make a loud creak/thunk noise when the rear is flexing out. I disconnected mine and apart from better flex the sound is gone...

So i bailed on the GQ springs and went with Pedders raised springs with the RS9000XL's, bolted it all on, on sunday! Looks great! Just speaking to Rancho just wanted to ask peoples experience with using standard height GQ springs, do you need longer than standard shocks? The pajero RS9000XL shock is not larger than standard as this suits 40mm lifts just fine? But with the GQ springs wont I be looking at closer to 50-60mm lift ...

Arb bar pretty sure old style but it's been sand blasted and repainted grey! I want to clean it up and put it back to black some day when I get a chance!

Hey guys,
Picking up some standard GQ Coils for the paj tomorrow and hopefully 4 x RS9000XL Rancho adjustables on saturday! When swapping these over do i need to think about brake line extensions or bump stop extensions? or is this only when using HD GQ Coils and longer shocks???

vehicle must have four of them which are required to remain in close contact with the ground for the entire event.

Thanks NJV6 I had a look today and you are right... bugger guess its gunna be harder than I thought, can I swap tank out for one from a LWB or does anyone know where I can get a custom tank made???

Yeah had a look today... dont know if its just the swb but the mounts dont look easy to relocate... do you have to cut and re-weld or is it a bolts and spanners job!

Awesome build, i now keen to do it to my shorty, how hard was the actual cut? I trying to decided if to get it done pro (just cut and seal it up) and I do the cleanup and paint or weather to just do it myself with a friend whos a good welder? How did you find it NJ?

Hey guys what kind of would i need to get specifically engineered if I was to do a ute conversion on my swb 4x4. Hey mate, i picked up an 80 series snorkel and it fit perfectly just made a template out of cardboard and marked it all out, cut the hole (the scary bit) and then pushed it in and mounted it.
