Very Simple job. Dizzy shaft and bodt need to be shortened and an o-ring groove cut into the lower shaft body. I have converted my 4.6 to coil packs and will removing the dizzy shortly so i will grab a couple of photos in the next few days

easiet way to find a dud relay is to start swapping them out until the car starts but another function fails.

Also use the ol' sniffer and smell them, you can usually smell if they are cooked.

Sounds like you know how to drive a mulitmeter, take each relay out 1 at a time and check the between ...

How did you check the starter? Did you hook up the leads to the +ve starter terminal on the starter and the -ve post and the jump from the +ve terminal to the solenoid?

Get a set of front damper mounts from and EAS equipped rangie. The bolt to the chassis on either side and place the shock in front of the spring.

Is the unichip able to bend the oxy signal?

The ver4 wolf allows you to set the target voltage for cruise so you are able to set a lean cruise. I have found that my 4.6 likes to cruise around 15.5/15.7.

It makes the most power and torque around 12.9/13.0 a wot. Likes to idle rich though which ...

I think the only way to really have an engine set up for optimum tune would be to fit the latest ECU eg The Thor 4.6 Motronic, with all the standard sensors, but maybe buying a new 38A ECU with the security and body stuff disabled.

Im using some whizz bang coils the i got from fleabay when i bought the ecu.

Im sure you could use ford v8 coil packs or something similar. Im running 4 coil pack i wasted spark config. Im also using two m and w two coil ignitors.

Have a look at the EDIS coil packs that the guys from trigger ...

Later 3.9's/4.0's had the cam thrust plate. My 4.6 runs the camshaft retainer plate. I was unfortunate enought to have a cam that wanted to wander around and self clearance the block (the cam is a heatseeker) so i had to pull the timing cover off and fit the plate. viola noise gone.

I have a coil sprung 93rrc Abs works sweet ETC works sweet. I used to have an 86rrc with hotwire efi 3.9 and they 93 shits all over that car in comfort, build quality and performance. (mind you the 4.6 probably does help abit.... )

as silly as it sounds try supercheapr auto. They had a massive selection of superpro bushes last time i was in there. Maybe they can order you a set?

If there torque isnt stated in the assembly/disassembly section its generally taken the standard bolt torque is used.

the general torques arfe listed on page two of the overhaul manual. Have you check in the fuel injection section of the manual as the intake manifold torques are all in there. I ...

I sumised the air being drawn into the housing and stricking the front of the filter before being drawn around the edges into the filter probably wouldnt help. It now has a 3.5" hole in the side that exposed alot more of the filter to the ...
