Seems a big job to fit RnP and beyond my skills, where as if its the full diff center, no probs. vitara have an alloy centre which isnt very strong so the crownwheel and pinon is transferrred over to the sierra steel ...

My radiator is pretty stuffed, but, I do not have a shroud, only a small electric fan, and no overheating probs as long as I stay up in speed. Only time the fan comes on is when working hard, when cruising, no drama, even towing a trailer full of wood. id be getting a master gauge and checking the ...

Interesting, I do not doubt word of mouth, but has he given a reason. I love it, but always learning. Well you know how these things go. It was a replica GTHO w/LSD racing in one of the nostalgia classes, chewed up two or three diffs in two or three outings. Apparently redline coughed up to rebuild ...

Suzuki Starter motors
G'day Folks, dunno if this is known, but I found out the hard way. Suzi starter motors are 3 pole, and so, work perfect till they drop ded, from perfect to burnt out in one start. I was out mucking about, as normal, by myself, drove up top a sand hill and stopped to admire the view, went to start, a ...

My playground is sand, and with a 5" total lift, some engine performance mods, 31" baja claws, my sierra will go in two wheel drive, where others cannot go in 4wd. Amazing to see the faces of people in "proppa" 4wds bogged to the diffs, and this little ugly suzi rocks up and asks if they want a tow ...
Timing

If you have altered, have you had the dizzy springs altered. What power or fuel decreases have ...

I have owned numerous 4bys, as most have, and for us taller blokes, they are all a bit of a squeez. The biggest was an F150, not too bad, but nothing like a full size road car. Believe it or not, a wrangler is not much diff in seating for us than a suzi, two wranglers, one suzi, very similar seating ...

Re: Transfer gears
thats why cars have a gearbox, i regularly use 4th and 5th low as 5low is a little lower then 1 high. the 6.5s mean that i have 10 gears from slower then walking pace to 120kph. there is nothing wrong with driving in 4 low or whatever gear ya need to move at the right speed. You still then only ...
