Run it physically dry. I found i was getting only 200klms to a 95L tank, rb30, standard exhaust manifold/exhaust and carby. Got another 3-400ish klms when the needle was on empty.

Have checked the sender unit in the tank. Still haven't figured this one out. Learnt to live with it.

On performance vehicles I've always used a carter black or gold pre pump, and one or more bosch 440's. have used holley pre's before. Had a few dramas.
Never had a problem with carters.

I got a noise defect on my pp rx7. De registered the vehicle, got a rwc from a sympathetic mechanic and re rego'd.
Definatly a dodgy way to go about things, but worked at the time.

I would assume so. It was making a crunch noise when turning, then a bang offroad, then no power to front wheels.
I'm going off what he's told me, have not had a geez under the car yet.

I run R30 in my peripheral port RX7, I usually drain the tank between uses anyway, so oil settling isn't a major issue. Although, when i ran a 51ml weber instead of the injection it was street driven, so this wasn't practical. I used to add a capfull or two of toluene to the tank when i added oil ...

JK wrangler cv's

Hey jeep people! Mates bought himself a JK for a first fourby, and on the maiden voyage smashed a CV. Whats the going rate for a replacement, and how different is it from a patrol/cruiser/lux set up? I've never been under one before and have heard the setup is slightly different to a typical solid ...

The bump stops have been modified to suit the shocks and has been tested at maximum possible articulation. I know they have a decent warranty, but i wasn't sure if they'd honour the warranty if i wasn't the original buyer.

Do you know where they're made bogged? Looks like the pics are from a jeep. I'm sure they're a multi fit item, but if there were a pair specifically fabbed to suit a patrol, following the step in the guard at the very top to keep with the body line etc it could look pretty good.

I'm biased, because i work for cummins, but i would definatly go with valvoline premium blue. Good ash content and more than suitable for a TD42. Good oil, and good filtration is cheap insurance.

More than happy to help anyone on the forum out with lube/filters, shoot me a PM.

I just had this rectified by having the swivel hub shims replaced and a new set of wheel bearings. started off intermittantly and with time became constant. still get a bit of a wobble, but i'm sure thats because the panhard bush has had a good dose of leaking power steering fluid on it.
