im with ray on this one adjust the rear brakes and go from there when i first got my cruiser the brakes were average i ended up renewing all the worn parts pads,rotors and shoes and rebuilding the front calipers and the car stops now, really well thats all id recommend.

as bj said trow away the standard crap and buy 200m8 and 200 m6 stainless steel nuts and bolt i didnt even keep my nuts and bolts i just threw them in the bin retap any bolt hole that is tight and use plenty of never seize

i find that the easyest way to get them out when they are this bad si to hit a coldchissel into it get say 3mm into the plug and then using a dull cold chissel twist it out works real quick.
