70mm lift – need caster?

TJM make a 70mm lift kit for the 100 series, ive been told that i wont need any caster correction with this kit fitted. I'm a bit skeptical of this, as i was always under the understanding that anything over 50mm will need some caster correction done. so what are your thoughts and opinions of this ...

the break in reverse not in forward... I can asure you they can break going forward at 1500rpm with both wheels on the ground. Fitting a locker won't make the teeth on the crownwheel stronger. 105s is still a great truck & when the front diff is fixed it's the best. can i ask what size tyres your ...

..depends how much u wanna lift it?. MUs are torsion bar front end – so just winding up the original torsion bars would get 40mm. The rear end is leaf sprung....so some drop shackles would do the trick. That would be a very cheap option! there are also 3ich kits that Calmini make which use rede ...

Part Time VS Full Time 4wd?

With standard LCs having part time 4wd does this cause increased ware one the rear pinion and diff, compared to an AWD variant that divides torque between two diffs? -I know the 1HZ doesn’t put out huge numbers… but with an aftermarket turbo added would the drivetrain cope as well as an AWD would ...

Im not aware of any performance chips available, if your seeking more power i would recommend u take out the pre muffler and change the big muffler to less restrictive sports type. It made a heap of difference on mine -better throttle response and more power, alot better to drive.

When in 1st and 2nd low range, with all the touqe going through the front , the hubs made 'baning' and 'clinking' sounds when they were under load. but once you got going all was fine. The problem ended up beeing the circlips which came loose, i ...
