Re: HELP! - ENGINE CHOICE
Mate if you plan on taking it swimming with you Id be looking at the good old 2h diesel. Ive owned one for years, and the only thing it does not have is a mermaids tail but it loves water.

Re: 75 clutch issues
Had similar happen to my 60 sounds like fluid bypass in the slave cylinder, carefully pull the boot back and check if its wet with brake fluid around the boot if so replace the slave cylinder not very expensive and not a difficult job.
good luck

Re: Cactus 2H???
#1 to TDC do this by getting valves on # 6 rocking one open one closing. Then adjust In - Ex on #1, Ex #2 #4 and In #3 #5. Rotate engine 360d until # 1 valves are rocking. Adjust In #2, #4 #6 and Ex #3 #5 #6 readjust when warm. As per the gregorys manual hope this helps

Re: 3 Ways Fridges - Gas not cooling
I have heard it said either propane or is it butane one of them burns hotter than the other and is better suited for 3 way fridges perhaps a gas fitter may be able to shed some light.

Re: 3 Ways Fridges - Gas not cooling
I use a piece of softer type wire (copper) and rattle that in the flue and then give it a blow out with the air compressor, but do this outside can be messy. If it works on mains power it must work on gas, the thermostat control regulates temp on 240v mains and gas not on 12v.

Re: 3 Ways Fridges - Gas not cooling
Jason make sure the gas jet is clean you may have a small flame but not enough to heat the refrigerant check the aeration holes as well, also the flue may be sooted up, it acts as a heat exchanger and wont work if dirty. this has worked for me on a couple of chescolds I have.

Noisy front Drive train
I drive a 60series and its always had a nock in the front axil on turning, now on tight right hand turns it has started to growl. My question is would it be cheaper to get a second hand front complete assembly or fix it??
