Re: 2010 diesel hilux fuel tank nut wont go on
its common on the late model toyota tanks. it distorts. happens when u pull the nut off and leave it for a hour or so. trick is to pull the nut. remove the sender and reinstall the nut. when i worked at toyota i was replacing plastic tanks all the time due to this issue. once they distort they never ...

whilst there is 2 battery there not a dual battery system the batterys are connected in parralell. there is no isolation what so ever. dunno where they got the switch in cab for. you can just fit decent N70 batterys and an isolator and have it crank off one leaving the other one for running fridges ...

Re: 1hz to a440
ive driven turboed auto 1HZs and they were still slow. the autos suck the power something chronic and they don't like staying at high revs to keep boost. they like to shift up a gear and drop off boost. handy on hills id be looking at putting a 1hdt minium but preferably a 1hdfte and 5 speed auto in ...

Re: 1hz to a440
id advise against running the 1hz with the auto as its painfully slow.
but bellhousing is the same for the 1h series of motors
you will need the torque convertor for a 1hz to suit the torque curve of the diesel.

they would be for the egr system. this wont stop you starting your car. and no u dont have to use them. the car will run better with the egr stuff not connected.
the fuel pump might have security in it. easiest way out is swap the pumps over unless ur old pump is shagged

Re: Air locker difficult to disengage
most commonly the orings have perished and are leaking or it could be the copper lines is pierced.
only way to find out is pull the center and check for air leaks.
releasing all depends on the load placed on the center. if its under load it wont always release.

it can be done but the performance gain is not worth the money. minimum would be a factory turbo motor to convert to. ideal motor is the 1hdfte motor and the 5 speed auto. http://www.totalcare4wd.com.au" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; these guys are the best at doing this conversion.

replace the master cylinder and slave cylinder. it'll be the master leaking fluid internally back past the piston seal
But as the master is worn so will the slave.

the theory behind the chips is. more power u have the less throttle your giving. up to a certain degree you can gain fuel savings. intercoolers and exhausts and hi flow snorkels just help the engine breather easier there for being more efficent. downside you'll spend a couple of grand to save a ...

im assuming its a 100 series u have. auto\manual
what are L\100kms you getting.
i know of some mods that increase the power which in turn helps drop the economy.
How many kms on it.
Whats the service record on it.
unforutnatly theres no secret button to make it run at 4L\100km.

its not the thrust bearing that jams it. its the fingers on the pressure plate being bent back into the friction plate that jam.

thats not factory filter.
factory filters are a silvery gold with the part number written on them. like the repco one have the large holde in the bottom for the water trap.
id say unless u can find that filter you'll have to hit up toyota or a wreckers for the bottom piece so u can go back to genuine
