The one which went for 20K was typical of that car dealer (not sure if company names are allowed to be mentioned) but they are renowned for over pricing and sitting on them until a rich person not knowing the value comes along and buys it. The one for 11K was a ex Swiss army Haflinger. Kind Regards.

Cheers guys! Was great to see so many people there! and as others have said there were no dramas everyone was very well behaved and respected each others taste of vehicle. I was the last to leave along with 4 others at 9:30, and we were turning people back as the petition had already left. :armsup ...

Newcastle READ!!!

As we all know by now there are new laws coming into play on the modifications of cars/4wd's which none of us want to happen... I received a msg this morning stating: Be at Newcastle Stadium TONIGHT (28th of July) at 7:30pm to sign a partition to stop laws on lifting and lowering vehicles. Now i ...

Starter/Alternator will be fine in clean water as its the dirt that gets in the brushes that does the damage another small prevention option is to spray the electric with WD-40 loosen the fan belt and the obvious get a snorkel :)

The latest news on the zook is as follows. It will now start with no throttle and idle but is rough and will rev without cutting out. I have heard of a thing called "turbulence" which is caused by holes in exhausts and mine does have one which happened yesterday at about the same time it started ...

Its all new fuel so it shouldn't be that i drained the carby by removeing the bolts at the front and removed the main plug then cranked it over for a little while will that clear it enough?

It still seems to have the same problem.

I have a 89 Sierra with the 1.3L carby. Yesterday whilst driving it started to surge and now will not idle and does not hold a constant rpm rather it surges and splutters. I Just drained the Carby thinking there may have been crap in the carby and adjusted the idle but the problem continues. It will ...

Took the zook out today and had one of them days. Firstly the front bumper was damaged so badly by a mate i had to remove it and had a kangaroo jump out in front of us whilst doing 60K on a dirt track and ended up with a tree through the windscreen and almost through the back one... Now onto tech ...

Yeah i have noticed the low range to be fairly high! always feels like its getting away from you down steep hills. Its always keen to get to the bottom where as the rover creeps down. But it all adds to the zook experience iv learnt to love!

Bumpers/ Tyres

Would it be a good idea to remove the front and rear bumper off my 89 Sierra its only used in the bush.

Whats the best size rubber to fit to a standard sierra 89, the ones on it now have little to NO tread!

Cheers!

I have a 89 Sierra and the front left seat belt has been torn and i was wondering how much it would cost to to get a new belt fitted and where i would get one from?

Would one from a wreckers be feasible?
