yeah, in aust, their few and far between so although im not expecting a quick sale, i think when the right person comes along, they'll snap it up.
Btw, i've heard about ur import influx, over here the grey (jap) import scene is mostly performance orientated with a little 4x4 segment.

Funnily enough, i just got asked about the turning circle yesterday by a mate who hadn't seen my Paj. I think it's excellent, pretty nimble around town, piss easy to park, and VERY zippy (if ur into that). I've got the petrol 3.5, but im not bias to it, the 2.8 td's go quite well in the swb's, so ...

MMM, thats a nice j top, but mine has the flared guards too (see pic), i think it's mostly the older j tops, i.e 1990-1993/4 without the flared.
Great 4wd, highly recomended and yeah, everything NJ SWB said i agree with :P

Hey there, i too own an import Paj, a very clean and well looked after J top (refer to my sig) which i've had no probs with, have insured it quite easily/cheaply ($995pa full comp, 23yo), and is not possed my demons. I'll admit that mine is one of the 'good' ones, but dont believe all that hype ...

Yep, i completly agree with the fact that it's a great oil burner, and by far the best in it's class. 2 be totally honest, i'd love to drop the DiD im my j top if funds permitted. Im sure stock, it would go just as hard, if not harder that the 3.5 thats in it now. And with a big front mount ...

I own a swb 3.5 j top (as u can see from sig ) and i think it's a great little 4x4, tall and wide enough to do be confident off road, and small and nimble enough around town. It goes very well in traffic light duels which u gotta be honest, thats where most of us use out forbies anyway. If ur ...

Ok thanks, all that info has been stored up top somewhere Probably lean 2wards the 305's, i still want 2 maintain good drivability etc. I do a bit of track work, nothing full on, mostly city stuff, so may be the better option. So in theory, if i were 2 take a step BACK, and go from 265's, to say 235 ...

"BIG" tyres

Hey guys, wanting to upgrade my 265/70's with something 'slightly' larger. I've narrowed it down to either Cooper st's, or Baja radial 2's in either 305/70/16 or 315/75/16. Plz read my profile for vehicle details. Just wanting some advice on the negative side of such an upgrade, like clearence ...

new exhaust

Got a new exhaust put on 2day. Just one problem, it sounds BAD! On idle, and at low speeds/low revs, it sounds quite nice, but once i open the trotle, it just isnt good. It kinda sounds restricted or something. I'm thinking its maybe the cannon style muffler i bought for the rear, (its quite small ...

Im with unique car insurance.
They cover on/off road, unlimited mods as long as they're legal, and im under 25 with a jap import 4by!!
I was expecting the worst, but im very happy with my premium (under $1000) and the coverage.
Try them... ;)

If u want a nice sound between gears, fit an intercooler and pod air filter (i know i know, pod on a 4wd is no good but...), for a nice 'flutter'.
Heaps better than gay arsed bov's :? .

Well said Jeff!
If some easy money (lotto :P ) came to me, i'd seriously consider going turbo on my paj, butt like u said, it invites way to many problems, and i'd probably just end up forgetting the whole idea. It's still fun to dream tho, right ;) .

Gotta be carefull, i'd imagine that 37's would put ALOT of strain on your power steering (if u have it, which u should with anything above 33's). Mostly when creaping tho, but the units moving alot of rubber!

Sounds really good mate, im a big fan of the 180's, and pretty much all jap turbos. Shame about the timing chain tho, such a silly thing to go wrong hey I used 2 own an jap r31 skyline, the two door gts model. Hey, as the saying goes, "Power sells cars, torque wins races".
So yeah, gotta agree, the wider the torque band is throughiut the rev range, the more go you'll have.

Off the topic, but.....
JMeager, im interested in what turbo cars u
and ur mates race, im a HUGE turbo fan (and ex owner)
