1st gen 4runner wont come out of 4wd

Hey guys need some help with my sons 1st 4by. He has been out havin some fun and it wont come out of 4wd, stuck in high range... I ve tried the old taking off in 1st with pressure on the stick..
His 4by is a 3Y 5speed 4runner 2 door 1984

a gq tank is suppose to fit perfectly between the chassis rail. i have to move my main tank as mine gets rubbd by my tailshaft when i get lots of air. lol

headlight probs

i have a rn46 and i have a front headlamp problem. both the 3 flat pin conectors have melted and having replaced them the passenger lamp is dim . if i pull the plug on the drivers side lamp they both go out and yes i replaced the globe so thats not it. help im cop bait.

steve in the green tj is in 4 sure. gavin in the greeen disco will prob want to as well. looks like team evo will be well represented. as 4 me ill just wait to se if ive a chair somewhere. the blue bus will be support crew 4 now.

I dont believe that you can class a locker as a mod and then class a body lift as another. Lets face it a locker does a lot more than a body lift that just allows wheel travel and clearance for tryes.just my 2 cents worth

shit hot weekend. Lots of tyres u/s after the rocks took their toll!!! have pics but comp playin up will try to get them asap. And i have a good shot of scots side roll and his new style door for zooks. lol..Thanks to niteowls for a greatfun weekend.

hey guys.
i bought a lockrite from USA 4 $375 aus. if you pulled down the diff and remove the centre yourself i know its only bout $125 to install the lockrite in. the seals are only $3.00 each. my 2 cents worth.

hey guys, a mate of mine had them on his GQ and he said they all failed very quickly. Ironman said it was very unusual and they got replaced and they failed!! Saying that my sisterinlaws hubby runs them on a 6x6 GQ ute and has no probs BUIT they do sell them at their bussiness. just my 2c worth

m8 of mine ( see evolution zook build up in the members section) he runs a 1979 hiace centre that he rebuilt with new bearings etc. he has this diff under a zook running 38.5 super swampers. hasnt had probs yet.

I run a 81 lux with a front lockrite.
I got this from the states for $375 aud delivered to my door.
from rockyroad.
i have no power steer so its hard to turn and i now carry a spare set of axles but the differance with the 4by for the price is awsome !!!!!!!
